HERE IS A RECENT BUYERS TESTIMONY; Stu and Trish, I purchased these pipe cleaners because I use them to clean the sockets of very old tube type radios. Summary: "Not too bad."

A very stiff bristle, and it cleans a lot more thoroughly than your run-of-the-mill sort. The main "shaft" could be a little stronger, as I had a little difficulty pushing it down the pipe stem - it kinked a time or two. But overall, they seem to do a good job.

Summary: "Good. Not great."

These are OK, but the wire in the center isn't as strong as other brands. I find that they bend too easily.

Summary: "Strong, durable, awesome."

I actually use these to clean the extractor tube on my M4 rifle. My main concern was that the cleaner had to be solid and durable enough to pull carbon build up out of tight metal chambers. These cleaners are awesome, rugged and stiff enough to get the job done. No more cheesy craft pipe cleaners that fall apart; this is the real deal.

Summary: "Perfect"

This was a quick process and the cleaners are awesome. They actually scrub away the tobacco residue that regular cleaners left behind!!!! Great product and seller!

Summary: "Don't let the kids near these!"

These are not "art's and craft's" pipe cleaners. These are stiff with both thicker wire and much, much stiffer bristles. If you need to clean an actual pipe forget the other kind and pick up some of these. They are also stiff enough that I find I don't need to use as many, saving money. They get the job done quicker, saving time. Let the kids have the lime green ones.
